Banana Peanut Butter Cup Almond Milk Shake

I do not live far from the famous 66 Diner that prides itself to be the home of Albuquerque’s best shakes and the menu features insane combos like the PBJ Shake, Black Forest Shake, or the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shakes and leaves no requests open as you can mix and match your own shake with different ice creams, toppings and extras. Unsurprisingly, they also come with a price appropriate to their fame. As it can get quite warm around here I did not hesitate to create a few in my own kitchen and here is one of my current favorites: The Banana Peanut Butter Cup Almond Milk Shake

The name already gives away all the ingredients that you need for it but here are they anyways:

2 Banana
2 Tbls. Peanut butter cup ice cream
1 Cup Almond Milk
Ice Cubes

For the bananas the rule: The riper the better applies as their taste gets stronger and nice as they continue to ripe. Normal milk is just fine but I like the task almond milk adds. I actually prefer the taste of Great Value Almond Milk to Silk but it was out of stock. Make sure it is original unsweetened. Or at least that what I like best 🙂 If you are eating clean you can also substitute the Ice cream with some chilled almond butter and more ice cubes. Tried it, tastes awesome.
